A note about last season ... and a secret mascot?

I was going to do a wrap up of last season, but after giving it some thought, I've realized that last season was last season and it's been far too long since it ended to bring it up again.

In the meantime ... what the hell is this thing? He's from the 1995 Pro Bowl, I think.
